Federico Sutera, a Venetian photographer, studied Tourism Economics at Ca’ Foscari University before pursuing reportage photography in Madrid. In 2010, he returned to Venice and opened his photography studio, Xframe.

His work focuses on two contrasting visions of the city: Postcards from Venice, a black-and-white series that portrays a timeless Venice by removing modern elements to evoke mystery and nostalgia, and Venice for Sale, which, through bright, saturated colors, critiques the city’s transformation into a commercial tourist attraction, detached from its historical authenticity.

His work has been published in Italian and international journals. His official website is www.federicosutera.com.
